What DWU says
DWU's brochure explains it must identify service line materials on both public and private sides and notify customers when the material is unknown "as it may contain lead." We have not seen a published count of confirmed lead lines and will not estimate one.
What you can do
Check your line using this guide and report it to DWU. EPA has basic information about lead in drinking water.
